Just finished reading Defending The Generalists In Web Design Industry. Great article. Reminds me of myself. Although I am not fully in the web design industry as I’m still learning PHP and some important skills but I am somewhere a generalist. I am a: Writer. WordPress Developer. And I’m good at both! And guess what, I love being a generalist.

I used to be very frustrated with my old computer. Why? Because it was too slow. I knew that I could save some time by replacing it but my parents did not do that. I kept getting frustrated and it showed in my life. Next, I got a brand new laptop of my choice. It is fast, blazing fast! Now, I’m happy. And it reflects. Although there are still many annoyances like slow internet connections around me but the base, the laptop works fast thus reducing my frustration! ...

OK, so I am a writer. And I am freelancer. And I am pissed off. Because people really think that writers are just typists! Who just run their hands on keyboard and do nothing else. That is why there are so many freelancing jobs for $5 per article. Wait, there are even more jobs for $1 per article. I do not know what these guys think. This is really terrible. ...

Well, I read something interesting today. Porn was fond in Osama Bin Laden’s Hideout. My first reaction was, I knew this. He fought for so called “Islamic values” and murdered people for all his life and himself watched porn. Plain hypocrisy. But it was not the post that made me laugh and think. It was comments on the post. Some people just let it pass as a news. However, some jumped in to, well defend Osama and saying that it was CIA who planted it. ...

It’s 3:47 AM and I am in fumes! Why? Just see this mail I got from PayPal India: So, I can’t shop online using PayPal or can’t sell anything more than $500! Great! Looks like RBI has one mission: To send Indian Economy back to dark ages by making sure that we are not able to work online as freelancers or bloggers with peace.
